My husband Aergis (also creator and admin of Maintankadin) created this website for me as a present, a present I could use to help other like-minded people. By like-minded I mean people who enjoy the achievement mini-game. One day I mentioned to my husband, “Gee it’s so hard to sort through all the information in these various database sites, I really wish there was a place I could go to and find filtered and ordered guides for these achievements”. A few months later WarcraftOverachiever was born.
Though my husband does the designing and coding, I am the author of the guides, and I spend a lot of my free time writing them to hopefully help you guys out. It makes me so happy when someone lets me know how much they appreciate my work, or that it’s helped them.
I am a young mother, I take care of my children at home and writing for this site makes me feel more productive (though being a good mom is the most productive thing I can do); being out of the working world since I had my children made me yearn for something to keep my skills sharp. I am blessed that I can be at home with my children and still be able to keep my hobbies and skills up through this website.
