- Getting this achievement is important because it is part of the criterion for ‘What A Long Strange Trip It’s Been’, which rewards you with a Violet Proto Drake 310% mount.

- Completing this achievement also rewards you with the title “Flame Keeper”.

A majority of this festival’s achievements revolve around the Honoring of your faction’s flames and the Desecration of your opposing faction’s flames. So be ready to make traveling around WoW your priority!

Aside from gaining the achievements for visiting all the flames during the festival, visiting those flames also helps because they reward you with 5-10 Burning Blossoms each. Burning Blossoms are the currency for the items associated with this festival, furthermore, some of these festival items are absolutely needed to complete the achievements required for the meta.

Visiting all the flames around the world + doing dailies every day might still not give you the required amount of Burning Blossoms you will want to get the important items from this event; 1100 Burning Blossoms + for:

• Midsummer Reveler Set
• Brazier of Dancing Flames
• Captured Flame
• Juggling Torches

If you can’t get everything you want in one Festival round, make sure you make the items that help you with your meta-achievement your priority, you can always get the pets next year!

BURNING BLOSSOMS

Gaining Burning Blossoms is one of the biggest priority for this achievement, below I will list the ways you can earn them.

HONORING/DESECRATING FLAMES

Honoring Flames grant you 5 Burning Blossoms, Desecrating Flames earn you 10 Burning Blossoms, and stealing flames form your opposing faction’s 4 capitol cities reward you with 25 Burning Blossoms Each.

Please refer to the achievement links above to see all the available flames, on maps, for both your faction and your opposing faction.

DAILY QUESTS

* To open the following Daily Quests you must do their unique version once, which are also given by the same NPC that gives the daily version. *

* NPC that gives these Daily Quests can be found in the Midsummer Hubs of capital cities. *

◘ More Torch Tossing

- Pick this up from Master Flame Eater.

- To complete this quest you must hit 20 braziers, found in same area as the quest NPC, with Practice Torches.

- Make this easy on yourself by binding the Practice Torches to a hot key. Also make sure there is no one else doing this at the same time you are or it will interfere with your “hitting”, if the city you are in is too busy go to one of the less populated cities to do this quest.

- Once you are comfortable about starting this quest, focus on the braziers. Basically you have to hit the braziers that have a target above them, do this by clicking your hot key to position your own targeting circle on top of the brazier that is marked. Do this as fast as you can until you hit 20!

- You will be rewarded with 5 Burning Blossoms for this quest.

◘ More Torch Catching

- Pick this up from Master Flame Eater.

- Complete this quest by “catching” 10 Unlit Torches.

- Go to an uncrowded city to do this quest, turn up your effects to see shadows, zoom out to eagle-eye view above your character, and bind the Unlit Torches to a hot key.

- Once you are ready to start the quest stand next to the BIG bonfire and click your torch. In order to catch it you will want to see the SHADOW on the ground. Follow that shadow and keep a little ahead of it in order to catch the torch once it lands. Being right under the shadow or behind it will most likely make you fail at catching the torch.

- Catch the torch successfully 10 times in a row! Also, speed helps a lot in keeping up with the shadows; you can do this in travel form, if you don’t have travel form use some Speed Pots to give you an edge.

- You will be rewarded with 5 Burning Blossoms for completing this quest.

◘ Striking Back

- Before this daily can be opened you must complete Unusual Activity / An Innocent Disguise / Inform the Elder.

- All quests associated with this daily, including the daily, can be picked up and turned in to Earthen Ring Guide.

- Start you Striking Back daily! Keep in mind that there are 6 different levels for this quest, all with different goals (please click the link for further information on what to do for the quests).

• Striking Back Requires Level 16
• Striking Back Requires Level 29
• Striking Back Requires Level 39
• Striking Back Requires Level 49
• Striking Back Requires Level 56
• Striking Back Requires Level 64

- All these quests have the same sort of goals, summoning and slaying an elemental. The differences are where you will go summon the elemental and what type/level of elemental you will be dealing with.

- Completing this daily will award you with 10 Burning Blossoms.

NORTHREND MIDSUMMER HORDE/ALLIANCE FLAMES

Though it is not part of any Midsummer achievement criteria, there are more flames to collect Burning Blossoms from in Northrend. If you find yourself in need of more Blossoms hit up Northrend, it’s not as zigzagged to traverse on your blossom collecting journey as the other continents are. Simply, you can both honor and desecrate bonfires quickly because there is always Horde bonfires in the same zone as there is Alliance, making things closer and faster.
