Get to the Choppa!
by ThalĂa of FrostmaneMake sure you have at least 12-14k Gold before you start this, on average that’s how much it costs to get this made. If you are the correct profession you can gather most of the materials yourself and save a little bit of money. If you are not an engineer most of the parts are vendor only, therefore, there is little leeway in cost savings.
Having an engineer friend who has learned the schematics for these mounts helps tons, many of the components can only be bought by them. If you don’t want to bother with collecting all the materials yourself, you can always try and search for a ready made bike on the Auction House.
This achievement is simple in the sense that you only need to learn the mount to get credit, so if you are going for the mount achievements, you might as well add this to your collection. This mount can be fun, you are allowed to let one friend on, so for the constantly-afk friend, it can come in very handy =).

There are two versions of this bike that give the same credit, one is for alliance only and the other for horde only:
Mechano Hog(H)
Both versions of the mount take the same materials and profession (engineering) to make:
-Titansteel Bar x 12: You can transmute these daily if you are a Blacksmith. Leviathan Mk II also has a chance of dropping them.
-Handful of Cobalt Bolts x40: Made by engineers and also dropped by various Northrend mobs.
-Arctic Fur x 2: Skinned from various Northrend mobs. Also found from special vendors and dropped by some Northrend mobs.
-Salvaged Iron Golem Parts x 1: Sold by Roxi Ramrocket 3000 Gold (only Engineers who have learned the bike schematic can purchase). Engineers also have a chance to salvage this part from various Ulduar bosses.
-Goblin-machined Piston x 8: Sold by Roxi Ramrocket 1000 Gold each (only Engineers who have learned the bike schematic can purchase). Engineers also have a chance to salvage this part from various Ulduar bosses.
-Elementium Plated Exhaust Pipe x 1: Sold by Roxi Ramrocket 1500 Gold (only Engineers who have learned the bike schematic can purchase). Engineers also have a chance to salvage this part from various Ulduar bosses.
*Keep in mind that you must learn the mount in order to get credit for the achievement. Mailing it to friends or crafting it no longer gives you the achievement.
