Tastes Like Chicken
by Weeri - FrostmourneAchieving ‘Tastes Like Chicken’ requires that you eat at least 50 different foods.

This is probably one of the easier achievements to get, with one exception, the only hard thing about it is that you don’t have a list of food that you already have eaten unless you have an addon, like over-achiever, that makes a tooltip to say whether you have eaten it or not.
Eating your way through World of Warcraft can be easily done without spending tons of money or time because most of the food can be bought from vendors, who are very cheap.
- Drinks don’t count for this achievement, they have their own achievement – It’s Happy Hour Somewhere. Regardless, take these same tips for the drinking achievement.
- As soon as you sit to eat your delicious food morsel you will get credit for tasting that food…you don’t need to wait and get the buff from it, if it has one, to get credit. So spam your character’s tummy to it’s delight, BINGE.
- Many foods are exclusively seasonal. They will only appear from special vendors/rewards for their respective seasonal event. So, every time there is an event in WoW, take advantage and eat every holiday food item you can find.
- Take note that Mage food also uniquely counts toward this achievement, so ask your Mage friends to conjure up all types of breads/drinks they can for you.
- Fish count individually eaten raw and cooked, so double-fish-dip!
- There is simply too many foods throughout WoW to list individually, but if you want a full list click this Food List. It shows you all food, including Holiday food, and sorts it by level requirement. A very useful thing to do here is to create a checklist out of this list if you are not using overachiever tooltips. Print out the list page and highlight or check-off every food you’ve eaten.
- If you are not capped, or are traveling around the world again doing other achievements, hit up every vendor you come across and eat/drink anything they offer!
- As a general rule foods in Outland, Azeroth, and Northrend are always completely different. If you think you’ve eaten all unique foods from one expansion area, don’t worry there will be a lot more waiting for you in another area.
- Don’t forget to cook! Or buy cooked items on AH, they are also unique and not sold by vendors.
