The Fishing Diplomat
by Thalía - FrostmaneTo complete this achievement you need to successfully fish an item in the waters found in Orgrimmar and Stormwind Cities.
- This is another one of those free-be achievements, you just need fishing skill, a fishing pole, and the will to go into enemy territory and catch an item.
- You must loot the fish in order to get the achievement.
- I recommend going in naked into enemy cities in case you get caught by patrols and sent to the graveyard, that way you don’t lose any durability.
- Research the most inconspicuous way to reach a fishing spot in the city. Most likely you will have to use some form of stealth to avoid many unnecessary detections. If you are not a class that has a stealth or invisibility skill, you can always buy some Invisibility Potions.
- You can do this achievement on it’s own, or you can try and get it while combining it with other achievements like For The Alliance! , For The Horde! , or if you are Alliance while trying to complete Old Crafty
** You can no longer fish if you are on any of the Wrathgate Chain quests that give you a phased Orgrimmar or Stormwind. If you are, finish your quests or you will not be able to do any fishing in these towns. **
For a horde if you really don’t want to engage in PvP its possible to go to Westfall and swim along the coastline of Elwynn, along the cliffs. Eventually your location will change to Stormwind, if you can find a bit of cliff to stand on (or have some kind of water walking ability) fishing there will award the achievement.
