Fool For Love

- Getting this achievement is important because it is part of the criterion for ‘What A Long Strange Trip It’s Been’, which rewards you with a Violet Proto Drake 310% mount.
- Completing this achievement also rewards you with the title “Love Fool“.
Yep, 2010 has totally revamped Love is in the Air! Forget what you learned last year about how to get items because it’s been turned upside down. This year Blizzard decided to go with the more common “holiday currency” model, like those for Brewfest and Midsummer Festival, with the introduction of Love Tokens.
TOKENS OF LOVE
Love Tokens are the most important items to get during this event because they serve as currency to buy most of the objects needed to complete the achievements for the “Love is in the Air” holiday. There are plenty of ways to get Tokens of Love, most of them involving quests. Below is a detail of where and how to get Love Tokens.
1) Daily quests associated with the achievement Nation of Adoration (click for quest detail info). You can do 4 of these quests a day which reward you with 5 Tokens each.
2) Daily quest for Crushing the Crown series, rewards you with 5 Tokens. Refer to Dangerous Love guide for details and information on quests.
The next three quest are given randomly by Public Relations Agents (goblins), who are found in faction major cities.
3) A Cloudlet of Classy Cologne:
- Started by (H) Public Relations Agent, (A)Public Relations Agent in Stormwind
- Use the provided Crown Cologne Sprayer on any players or NPC’s without hearts above their heads, Sample Satisfaction. Do it 10 times and turn it it for a 5 token reward.
4) A Perfect Puff of Perfume:
- Started by the Public Relations Agent
- Use the provided Crown Perfume Sprayer any players or NPC’s without hearts above their heads, Sample Satisfaction. Do it 10 times and turn it it for a 5 token reward.
5) Bonbon Blitz:
- Started by (H) Public Relations Agent, (A) Public Relations Agent in Ironforge
- Use the provided Crown Chocolate Sampler and toss them to 10 different players, make sure they don’t have hearts above their head, Sample Satisfaction.
If you do all the daily quests available to you, you can get up to 30 Love Tokens a day!
6) Lovely Charm Bracelets can be traded to the “Lovely Vendors” for Love Tokens! Refer to the guide Charming to learn how to make the bracelets.
LOVE IS IN THE AIR ACHIEVEMENT ITEMS
Save your Love Tokens because you will need them to buy the following items in order to complete all the achievements! I will list what you need and how many tokens each item needs to be purchased for the “Lovely Vendors“.
♥ Love Fool = 10 Love Tokens
♥ Handful of Rose Petals = 2 Love Tokens for 5
♥ Romantic Picnic Basket = 10 Love Tokens
♥ Silver Shafted Arrow = 5 Love Tokens for 5
♥ Love Rocket = 5 Love Tokens for 5
♥ Bag of Candies = 2 Love Tokens
♥ Perfume Bottle = 1 Love Token
♥ Box of Chocolates = 10 Love Tokens
♥ Lovely Dress Box = 20 Love Tokens
