To complete this achievement you must save Metzen the Reindeer during the Winter Veil Holiday.

- Characters must be level 40 to do this quest.

Start this achievement by speaking to:

• (A) Wulmort Jinglepocket in Ironforge (33,67.6)
or
• (H) Kaymard Copperpinch in Orgrimmar (52.6,66.3)

Pick up the quest Metzen the Reindeer from them.

- You will receive a Smokeywood Satchel once you accept the quest, which you then have to open in order to get a Pouch of Reindeer Dust and a stack of letters with clues on where to find Metzen.

**DON’T OPEN THE BAG WHILE IN RAID, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE THE POUCH OF REINDEER DUST**

- Metzen can be found in 2 places ( available for both factions):

• Searing Gorge: (68,34)
• Tanaris: (73,47)

- Once someone finds Metzen and uses him to finish their quest he will de-spawn. If you find yourself going to an area where he has not spawned yet, you can either be patient and wait for him to re-spawn or trek to the other area he can be found at.

- Use the Reindeer Dust on Metzen in order to liberate him and complete the quest.

- Go back to the quest giver, turn in the quest, and complete the achievement.

**This quest counts towards your Loremaster quest count!

P.S. Yes Metzen the Reindeer was named after Blizzard Creative VP Chris Metzen
